This is the first post.
Maybe that tells you something about me?
When I rediscovered this blog a few months back I retitled it. I have come from "in between" (a blog about being in college still under my parents wing, but becoming an adult) to "tales of a new nurse" ( a blog about being a brand new nurse).
The past year has been a HUGE transition for me... just like every new college graduate. 2011 started with a fresh break up, a stressful last semester of nursing school, a job search, and a terrifying realization that my childhood was over. 2012 is here. I'm in a job that I love in a city that I love near my sister and her family, I'm taking up new hobbies like running, and bringing back old ones like crafting. I live alone, work night shift, and wonder if I'll ever get married.
I recently joined an amazing church where I'm still trying to find my place. God has been teaching me a lot, and I continue to fail Him every day. Thankful His "mercies are new every morning" (Lamentations 3:23).
Now that's pretty much me. Stay tuned for the first new nurse story- "This is the night that never ends"
